  1. Whitney, more music! Yay! I'm glad you are so inspired by it. Just a few suggestions: speak a little louder, keep eye contact with the audience, and maybe put a little inflection on different sentences to keep our attention.

You seemed very comfortable up there, and it really helped your presentation. I listen to music all the time, and I agree with everything you talked about. I loved the little clips you played that support your points. Great job!

  3. I think it was good that you actually played music in your speech because it kind of gave us an interactive example of the topic you are trying to get across. All of the quotes from famous musicians were good because it showed if these really important people are taking this really seriously then we should also. I think it is cool that so many people care so deeply about music.

  7. More music!! I love music so much and it is great that so many poeple stressed the power of music. Maybe just practice a little more. You seemed kind of afraid and by practicing you could have gained that stage prescence that comes with confidence.

It helped add a lot more to your points!I also liked the examples you used like how soldiers use music to help them prepare for battle, or how we use music to help push through a workout. 12. Music can help people relax when they need to relieve stress. It can help people be distracted when they are performing and can pump them up. Music can help increase the anger factor which can help people perform better in tight situations, such as sports or soldiers in a war. Music can create feelings of sadness that sometimes fits the scenario people are placed in, such as funerals.

  13. I liked how you identified certain types of music that are played in specific places, like in hospitals or dentist's offices. The way you categorized music by emotion was also really fascinating; it's much more accurate than genres!

I also loved your clips of music to involve the audience. One thing to work on is speaking a little louder and engage the audience with your eyes. Overall very nice!
