  1. Nick,

You had a unique view of teenagers. I don't think many people look at teenagers like this. I enjoyed hearing your unique views.

I know how tough it can be to get up there and talk (I am still shaking a little from giving mine). Just calm down. Try thinking you are just giving your talk to your parents or your friends. This will help you give it more smoothly.

Good job! I enjoyed your talk.

  2. Nick-I think that you need to slow down. No need to be nervous. Look at us. But I thought that your topic was very true. Very good job!! Just remember to practice your speech a little more and practice more in front of an audience if you nervous.

  3. Nick - You had some interesting topics on the role and rights of teenagers. You had some great information to back up your argument and had a very informative and detailed slide show. Great job.

  4. Nick, you started with with alot of emotion and I think that got your speech rolling easily. Comparing teenagers to a minority was a very interesting perspective. The voting thing was a very interesting point too. I think that this was a very interesting perspective that I had never thought of. You did a great job backing up your point with a load of scientific and social examples. Good job Nick!

  5. Nick- I can tell you worked a lot on this project and the powerpoint but it's alright. You can slow down a little. I know that I talked kind of fast in my TED Talk but I talked fast the whole time because I had a lot to say. but otherwise it was a sound presentation and I really enjoyed it.

  6. I don't think as many people think teenagers are bad as you say. you have a good point but I dont really agree, otherwise you have a good ted talk.

  7. I thought your idea on your topic was really interesting. Your points went together really well. I agree that teens do not think through their decisions, but that is how we learn. Good job.

  8. Nick- I really liked your idea! People always stereotype teenagers as trouble, and it is unjustified in some cases. Good examples!

  9. Nick- I would have liked you to make more eye contact with the audience. I agree that teenagers are denied some unfair rights, however you also helped show why through the scientific data. I liked how you supplied solutions to the problem rather than leaving it openended. Good job.

  10. Nick, you really shed light on the issues of society and how a lot of people lump teenagers together instead of seeing the indeviduality like in adults. Your solution to this teenage problem was also interesting, and worth trying. Good job.

  13. Nick,

  14. I like you topic because, us being teenagers, we don't think about the wrongs we may do as a whole. Along with this, we also don't think about the injustices teens have in society. I think that some of your points were a bit tedious and there are some that I may not completely agree with, but you presented your argument well. Nice job!

  15. Nick: Great Job! I clearly got your opinion. Teenagers have such a big stereotype on us, we are looked at us people who are bad, can't follow rules, don't respect our elders, butthere are so many teens who DO, but then again there are the teens who don't. I like how you ask us what we can do to change this issue. Your speech was great, and organized in a great way. Overall, good job!:)

  16. Nick- You got me hooked on the first slide. What you are saying is really true, last year when we were at a meet we would take a break and go get a drink at a nearby place. The adults there looked at us all the time. Good talk.

  17. Nick, good job! I think you could have slowed down because I couldn't understand some of your points. Teenagers are denied some rights, but they gain their rights as they mature. These limits are in place due to immaturity and the typical ways of a teenager. I'd rather have teenagers not running around drinking and getting married, but understanding the mistakes they make for the future. Overall, good job!

  18. I agree with your topic and that teenagers are discriminated against and I can think of times when i have been discriminated against. Overall your presentation was pretty effective, you just needed to slow down a little.

  19. Nick-
Good job. You need to slow down a little because I didn't catch a lot of your points. You should also make eye contact with the audience more often because it will involve us more. I felt like you were talking at us not to us. I think you had a valid point and the slide show presented it well.

  20. I did not know teenagers were so limited in their rights! You made a strong argument for why teenagers should not be discriminated against. I did not know that there were scientific reasons to explain the attitudes of many teenagers. I think you made great suggestions for how to fix this problem, too.

  21. While these stereotypes have not been expressed to me I, enjoyed listening to your ideas. You had a very well thought out speech with personal explinations. I also do not think of y self as a minority, but you had a very well talk. Good job Nick.

  22. Nick S- You spent a lot of time working on the fonts and design of your slides. I enjoyed your coneections to some of the books I've read. We can all connect to the topic of teenagers being descriminated against. Great job!

  23. Nick: I do think that these stereotypes are unfair for some. However, many teenagers do not have much common sense if any. Howknew a lot about your topic and I thought that was great. ever for future talks, do not be nervous. Trust in yourself that you know the information, because I know you do. You proved it in your talk. You seemed like you were insightful. Great speech!

  24. Nick- Make eye contact and your presentation will be improved tremendously. Other than that, you had great things to say. Great job.

  25. Nick did a good job. I really liked you topic because I can relate and I know that everyone else in the room can too. The way that you proved all of your points was good and I could tell that you weere passionate about what you were talking about. Although I did not really agree with everything you were saying, and I didn't really understand what your main point actually was, I still liked it. Good job.
