I liked how you used statistics to show the severity of bullying. The use of examples was very effective. Yours was really good!
Lauren, your talk gave me goosebumps! I loved the passion in your voice! I think this an extremely important, and something that people really need to be more aware of. People do not realize how bullying effects people lives. This was absolutely great! Amazing job!
Lauren-Your presentation was very powerful. The stories show just how bullying affects kids. Your message will go straight to people's heart, and make them feel ashamed to judge people. Many people dismiss bullying as trivial, but you have showed them it is a serious issues. Your facts really emphasize your point. Good job!
Lauren, your topic was very deep and confrontational. It is interesting because because you had tons of stories including a personal story. And not everyone sees bullying from the bullied perspective. I think that your tone was very helpful get your point across. It was very emotionally evoking. Great job honing in on us personally.
Her voice was very passionate and really caught my attention. Her stories were very moving. I was very moved and it really made me think about bullying. I loved how her points flowed. I like how she connected bullying to her own life. The talk was very moving and she knew her topic. I was speechless after Lauren's talk. I now want to be nicer and watch what I say.
Wow, I didn't know how common and serious bullying still is. You speech was absolutely amazing! You spoke passionatley and clearly, and made a really strong point.
Lauren, your words touched me. At my middle school, a 7th grader killed himself. It opened up our schools eyes to how bullying can hurt people. I agree that kids should think before they speak. Great speech!
Lauren - Your speech was emotional and heart-breaking, and was incredibly eye-opening. You smoothly presented a terrible problem in our society, but also gave a important and vital personal solution. Overall, it was great.
Lauren's presentation reinforced the messages that a lot of other parents and teachers have said, which only made the message stronger and stick into my head stronger.
Lauren,You used a lot of stories and a lot of volume. This is good. I haven't seen a lot do this. You kept us on focus with all these things.I recommend, slow down a little. You went from one thing to the next to the next. You could pause for dramatic effect, to let us think about what you are saying.Great delivery and great evidence! Keep up the good work!-Matthew Cheney
Lauren had statistics in her talk, but it didn't make it less meaningful because her voice had such passion in her voice. There were many stories of young children who felt so hurt and scarred by being bullied, they didn't even want to live. Lauren personally knows someone who was hurt by bullies, by teasing that went too far. Her voice was very powerful and had me hooked onto what she was saying.
Alright I was in pretty good mood before this, but now i feel depressed after your speech. The script that you used was awesome, and the way you used new ideas like the pictures, that was simply amazing, Great Job Lauren.
Your talk was atounding. You have such an amazing speaking voice, you captivated everyone in the room just from speaking. Not to meantion, you had such an important topic with great points to back it up.
Lauren- Very smooth presentation. Very engaging. The most powerful presentation I've seen. Ever. And this includes all our TED talks for class and every presentation I've seen in my life. Beautiful work.
That was extremely inspiring and I loved it. That was amazing and I could tell that she really cared about hat she was taling about. She did such a good job and I know that that talk really impacted me and I will take away the amazing stories she told us. Overall that was truly amazing.
I really liked how from the begining you jumped into it and started giving statistics. I also liked how you had personal stories, other stories.
Lauren-Your presentation was amazing I could really tell you were very passionate about this topic. I'm still in awe you literally did amazing I have nothing to say to get better on. It was just so amazing.
In my opinion, if it is serious enough, we should send these bullies to federal prison, but still, shouldn’t we help these people? I was bullied, and I wish I knew to call the police. Also, how can we change this? Should we put pressure on the students, or adults to change this? Is it almost too much to ask of a 1st grader to put himself in the way of danger to be someone else’s friend?
LaurenThe weave of facts was really deep. It was really deep and sad and your talk was full of emotion. You had me hooked on every word and made me aware of what people face everyday. It changed me and it was a good talk.
Lauren- suberb speech! It gave me that pitter patter in my heart. Your speech definiatly hits home. I love when you raised your voice to emphasize your point.
Lauren- I could tell that you were really nervous but the emotion that you provided with your talk covered this up. You had a lot to say about the topic because you had a lot to say and you said in flawlessly. You had a perfect TED Talk. Personally, I think that you should get a 100%.
Lauren- You started off a little nervous, but you immediately put your game face on. You connected things in our everyday life, simple teasing, all the way to abusive bullying. I took away, "Are you really okay with someone else calling you that?" Great job Lauren?
I liked how Lauren made the talk more personal. I thought she had understanding of being bullied. It was very intersting to learn about her brother.
