  2. Nick,

I liked how comfortable you were in giving your talk. You may not have felt like it, but you looked like it. Also, good message. I think we need to hear that more.

I would move around a little more. Also, for smoother delivery, I would use your slideshow more. Perhaps put cues in it that you can use to trigger your memory.

Great talk, and good message. Great job!

  6. Nick- I never thought about our roots that make us want to win. I have never thought of winning as what you were talking about. Of course I know competition drives us to win, but the concept of survival of the fittest was new to me. Good talk.

  7. Great job Nick. I really liked wat you were talking about and it made a lot of sense. It was great how you asked the audience questions to keep them engaged. You may have been talking a little too fast, but otherwise I think it was amazing.

  12. Nick, great job outlining the definition of winning before you even start your main point. You also put many different terms to describe winning. You also used many different time periods to support your idea. Good job Nick.

  13. I really like your point about business taking competition too far. I feel like sometimes competition gets in the way of society accomplishing all that it could.

  17. Nick, I like how you proved your point that winning and social hierarchy matters to everyone by the amount of people's hands raised when you asked who cheats at Monopoly. You made very valuable points about how we should succeed in life, very good job!

  18. Nick- What is your message? Your presentation was very scattered and I was confused by it. Your examples were somewhat unclear, but I think your presentation was done well. I especially liked the wealth of information you packed into your slides. Wonderful.

  19. Good thoughts! Evolution supports our competition, yet we create things like religion, and morals. Humankind has changed nature itself, for better or worse. "WInning" is the essence of the Industrial and Intellectual age. That graph is actually fair in many ways.

  21. Nick- You sounded very well rehearsed. It wasn't until the very end of your speech that I saw all of the points come together, and I really saw why winning mattered.
