Your talk was very well thought out, organized, and researched. Good job!
Your talk was super interesting-- it gave me tons of new information! You applied the idea of something I love listening to every day to something I find boring, so that's hugely helpful to a freshman in high school trying to learn the ropes. Props for having it memorized as well!
Hannah I liked how you gave good examples of musics positive effects on the world. Good topic choice and job!
Hannah-I agree with your stand on music. I think that playing/listening to music connects one's brain to the entire scheme of things in life. You had a good speaking voice with clear, concise points, and I thought that you really got the audience's attention; good job!
Her speech started out with a wild flurry of facts and I think this kind of took away from the importance of her talk. This topic is defineatly important and she conveyed her message with beautiful pictures, I just wished she had stressed things more and paused more. Her speech stopped and started and I felt that that could also be better, but hey that is also how I speak and I can understand how hard it is to speek under pressure witthout rambling.
I completely agree with you point about music, especially in sports and working out! I liked how you had quotes and research to back up your topic while relating it to our own lives. Great Job! It is so true. Music is the sountrack of our lives.
I liked that your powerpoint kept you on track. I also like the style of your speech, telling the big picture then explaining it.
Music is a very important and integral part of not only education but everyday life. This is an excellent subject to bring up because it is something that is obscured in both education and society. Music is applicable in every facet of life, so it is something that should be used everywhere.
Hannah-I agree about thr multi-tasking I deffenitly use music when I work out or study. I know that I also listen to music baised on how I feel. I relate to all the messages that it sends. I know it helps my creativity. Great Job Hannah!
I should listen to more music... I'm not the best at listening. Anyways, you were enthusiastic about your topic and you feel similarly exuberant! You related music to what we have been talking about for the last 5 or 6 weeks. You were speaking very fast, so sometimes it was a little hard to keep up. You did really great! Go music!
Strong voice/presence! Great topic, I can relate, but I would have liked the speech done a bit slower, it was sort of hard to keep up. I did enjoy the quick class poll though! :) I LOVED each of the creative pictures, but would have liked the text a different color to see better.
Hannah, music is the songs of our lives. I too believe that music helps us in many subject areas and emotion. I play music, and I know many other people do too in this class. We do sometimes follow what you say when we play the music. You have a good speaking voice, but you might have gone a little too fast.
Hannah-I loved your enthusiasm during your speech. You were talking like you were talking to a friend. You had a lot of energy and were very well prepared. I coujld relate to what you were saying and liked how you related it to what we have been doing in class. Great job!!!
Hannah-You did a really good job, you looked and sounded really confidante while you were speaking. I like how you included te audience in your presentation. you made everyone think and you talk was really interesting and fun to watch. Nice job!
Hannah, I totally agree with you. But sllloooooowwww dooooowwwwwnnnn. Volume was good. YOu moved around a bit which was effective. I like that you combined music with both motivation and success.
Hannah-Your presentation was very easy to relate to, and the interaction between the audience was great.Good job!
You really took the concept of music and looked at it from a variety of aspects that are very important. I also loved how you mentioned choir. Great job!
Hannah- Wow! You were really inspiring! You had a topic that everyone could relate to. You seemed very comfortable and confident which was great! I also loved your ending message, it left the audience with a goal to think about. Great job (:
You make a good connection between music and personal lives, like multitasking. Also, there is a good point you make on how creativity is affected by music.
Bringing the class into the speech was a nice touch and you looked really comfortable up there, laughing and smiling! Asking the class a question was a great way to engage the audience... it was a really great presentation! :)
I like how you came right out and answered your own questions and asked us a question as well. The quotes that you used worked so perfectly in your presentation. The summaries about everything you talked about were really great. The challenge at the end was amazing.
Hannah-I really how you tied some of the senses from A Whole New Mind, they are very important especially with the subject of music. You were very prepared and talked about how they realte to you.
Your talk was awesome Hannah! I loved the subject you chose, and it definitely is not emphasized or appreciated as much as it can be, especially in schools. You seemed very comfortable, and passionate about music. I learned a lot too! Good job!
Your presentation was great! I loved how you had examples to back up your points, and you had a strong speaking voice. The points you had were relevant and true, and you knew what you were talking about!
Your TED talk was good at connecting a seemingly abstract topic in music to a lot of things in life. I feel like your call to action was really good with supporting music since the support for music simply is not there at many schools. For example, the band kids are usually looked at as the nerds of the school. It is good that you are trying to change that outlook. I also feel like you relating music to empathy was creative and pretty interesting.
