Great job! You had great audience participation and questions which really separated your presentation from the rest.
Ian- I really liked how you personaly engaged your audience. Your idea was intriging. You made jokes off your slides, which lightened up the audience. Great Job!
Ian that was great! you had a talk that was easily understandable and relatable. Your powerpoint was also great. You really used the ppt as a tool for your ideas rather then something to look at. Great job bud.
Ian: I love how you asked us to "choose our path" and the answer wasn't on the road, it was making your own. I think that ties into so much that we have learned. We have been trying to step outside of the box and that's what that does. THis is such a great topi because everyone makes decisions every day of their life. Great Job! :)
I think that your topic was relevant to today's life, because as teenagers, we're starting to make more decisions that involve us. We are growing up and therefore need to make our own decisions. Good job Ian.
I like how you say that there are certain times when you cannot blaze your own trail. It's true enough. I don't think that we are really careful enough. I pick Eco-Terrorism, hands down (Just kidding).
Your pictures were very good and I like how you asked us which path we would've chosen. I also like how you had diagrams because it made your reasoning very logical.Good job!
Ian,You appeared very comfortable. You looked like you had practiced a lot, but also handled things that just came up well.I recommend using speed and volume to make your delivery better. Think of it like a song. You need to have rallentandos and crescendos, and decrescendos.Great talk, and a unique topic. Good job!-Matthew Cheney
Your point on decisions was great. We often finde that we need to make a decision and are often influenced by people, especially our friends. Great speech!
I liked how you had the "stereotypical decision picture". It worked very well with your presentation. I also liked those sheep. a sheep is kinda a good example for noc-decive decision making.
Ian- Your slides were really interesting, especially the one about the two paths. Good job!
Ian,I liked your ideas on how to make better decisions. I think it is a great idea to try and make your own "path" whenever possible. Good job!
Ian- Your presentation was well done, except it seemed awkward and glitchy at times. But other than small issues, it was great.
Ian-I really liked yoru talk. It really interested me and caused me to think. I agree that we each need to make our own decisions and it is becoming a problem that we are just following what other people are doing. Good job!
Ian's talk was interesting because he challenged us to make our own decisions, but also reminded us why we make our decisions. Is it because everyone else is doing it, or because this is actually something meaningful to you? I think he basically related it to conformity. Don't make your decisions to match others, but make your own decision in order to create a world of color. You did an awesome job!
Ian--I really liked your slides; the webs and pictures enhanced your point and helped me visually understand your concept.
Ian - Your speech was well-thought out and insightful. You had some genuine and quality points, that really enhanced your presentation. Your slideshow had good graphics that connected perfectly to your presentation. Great job.
Way to go Ian! Great idea, I never heard about picking a root with my own decision. Great talk!
Ian- You had a great example with the oil spill. Many things can influence our decision making and it is important that we allow ourselves to make our own decisions without letting others influence us too strongly.
Ian- you did an awsoem job. I loved how you used humor in your tone. I think if you would have continued to use examples you would have strengthned your point. Great job!!!Sage
Ian- Great TED Talk! That was an original topic and very engaging. I liked your presentation style and slides. Good job, Ian!
Ian, you did a great job and I really liked your talk. I liked how you questioned the audience and had them thinking, even me and I had just sat down and was still becoming calm. You did a great job.
Ian- The choose your path thing was great! You make us think you're going to give an important lesson but you don't. Like a bird pushing its baby off a cliff. Amazing job dude!
Great job! I loved your topic and I thought it was very interesting! You really made me think about my decisions. I also loved how you connected with the audience.
