  3. Ian that was great! you had a talk that was easily understandable and relatable. Your powerpoint was also great. You really used the ppt as a tool for your ideas rather then something to look at. Great job bud.

  4. Ian: I love how you asked us to "choose our path" and the answer wasn't on the road, it was making your own. I think that ties into so much that we have learned. We have been trying to step outside of the box and that's what that does. THis is such a great topi because everyone makes decisions every day of their life. Great Job! :)

  5. I think that your topic was relevant to today's life, because as teenagers, we're starting to make more decisions that involve us. We are growing up and therefore need to make our own decisions. Good job Ian.

  6. I like how you say that there are certain times when you cannot blaze your own trail. It's true enough. I don't think that we are really careful enough. I pick Eco-Terrorism, hands down (Just kidding).

  8. Ian,

You appeared very comfortable. You looked like you had practiced a lot, but also handled things that just came up well.

I recommend using speed and volume to make your delivery better. Think of it like a song. You need to have rallentandos and crescendos, and decrescendos.

Great talk, and a unique topic. Good job!

  10. I liked how you had the "stereotypical decision picture". It worked very well with your presentation. I also liked those sheep. a sheep is kinda a good example for noc-decive decision making.

  13. Ian- Your presentation was well done, except it seemed awkward and glitchy at times. But other than small issues, it was great.

  14. Ian-
I really liked yoru talk. It really interested me and caused me to think. I agree that we each need to make our own decisions and it is becoming a problem that we are just following what other people are doing. Good job!

  15. Ian's talk was interesting because he challenged us to make our own decisions, but also reminded us why we make our decisions. Is it because everyone else is doing it, or because this is actually something meaningful to you? I think he basically related it to conformity. Don't make your decisions to match others, but make your own decision in order to create a world of color. You did an awesome job!

  19. Ian- You had a great example with the oil spill. Many things can influence our decision making and it is important that we allow ourselves to make our own decisions without letting others influence us too strongly.
