Luke, well rehearsed and I liked it. You defineately get more done on your own than when you work with Aaron and me :). Nice job and while I do not neccesarily agree. You caught my attention. Great job, see ya next year.
Luke- I loved how you started off your presentation! It engaged the audience in what you were saying. I also liked your topic! You had good volume and were confidant. Nice job!
Luke- Your topic was very intresting. It was somthing that was very unique. I thought it was really cool how you had the scientific information to back it up. You did a really good job presenting!
I like how you start off with engaging us by asking how we are feeling. Your presentation calmed me down since meditating is such a calming thing. I never knew that meditiating really helps our health, there is a lot of science behind it. Good topic!
Way to set the scene at the beginning! Using Buddhist beliefs into your speech and basing it around them was an intriguing way to do this project. I enjoyed your presentation... I wouldn't mind trying to meditate. Great job!:)
You were well rehearsed and projected your voice nicely. Meditation seems like it will change the world, if people can do it properly. Your slides perfectly supported your speech. It was amazing to see the ways that meditation can change you as a person. You did amazing!
I liked how you used elements of story to organize your TEDTalk. It was a fascinating look into different cultures and I'll probably remember it better since it was a tale! Connecting perspective and music to meditating was a great idea, and it was also nice to hear that not-very-serene people like me can meditate effectively.
I like how you actually addressed all of us and then started off by telling a story. I thought that when you used the images that you did, it really made a difference and they all worked well together, great job.
Luke, I enjoyed your transitions. I think it would be really cool to be a monk and have that kind of meditation time. I think it would deffinatly help people on thier lives. I tought your speech was interesting. Good job!
I like how you greeted us all and the spirit you created on stage!! I could tell it was something that really mattered to us.You explained everything very well and I could tell you did your research!! I would only say create more eye contact with the audience. Great job.
Luke- I liked the order that you did your presentation in. Because of your presentation I want to go and meditate! I also liked how you said that in order to find what matters you must meditate. Your speaking tecniques were easy to listen to, and I liked your pictures. Good job!
Luke- I liked your talk because from the beginning you sounded like you were actually talking to us. Interesting message, I enjoyed listening because of how confident you sounded.
Luke- Wow, I really liked your topic. I think meditation and the way monks live is so interesting. I have always wanted to learn about them. I also like how you listed the benifits of meditating. Relating the end back to the beginning was good too. Overall, great job! Your speech was really good!
I liked how you started with what we are feeling with the situations right now. It was cool how you incorporated the people that many people think of when they think of meditating: Buddhists. The studies that you put in your TED Talk were great also because it gave cold, hard facts. The quotes you finished off with really gave me a good sense of the power of meditation.
Being able to meditate on issues in the world without having to think about how society will treat you. Being able to relax without interruption is something that everyone needs. Great topic.
Luke, I like your opening. You make me laugh. You had good tone and the overall presentation kept our attention.
