  4. The stereotype that nobody is perfect is wrong. There is an awesome point you make that the media and other people choose our insecurities and instead we should choose our own. Great job!

  6. Olivia made her presentation relevant to the students by taking pictures of the students and their insecurities. It was a great speech with a meaningful message and as the presentation went on the backround pictures changed to where the students seemed to be content with themselves. A great progression and an all around feel good presentation. Great job.

  7. Your t-shirt and the pictures of others with their own insecurities was really clever. We all have things that we feel self-conscious about. I love how you said we can all find our own views of perfection. Great point! The facts about plastic surgery and eating disorders was really fascinating.

  8. Olivia, your message of positivity is inspiring. We all have flaws, and society doesn't like those. We all need to change our definition of perfection and become what we want and be what we want. I think your voice could use more work, where it changed when you went into a personal experience. Overall, good work.

  9. Olivia-
Your idea and powerpoint were very unique! I love how you put two different pictures of each person! Your speech could relate to everyone and we all can change how we think of ourselves. I like how you told us about our imperfections too. It made the topic more relatable. Awesome speech!

  10. Perfection, in image and everywhere else, is not achievable. People need to realize that they are perfect just how they are, and they don't need to change anything about them. For me personally, being a bigger person, I felt like I was an outcast for the longest time, but now I realize that I am just like any other person, just doubled in size. This a GREAT topic that I have come to try and tell people.

  11. I love Glee. I love how you stole their idea. Your statistics and stories brought your idea together. Its cool how you showed "before and after" pictures and showed how insecurities shouldn't be looked down upon, but accepted and embraced.:) Great job Olivia! Oh and we miss you at softball:P

  12. I really liked looking at all the pictures of people's insecurities, because it made me realize that we all feel insecure, but we do not have to be ashamed of it. We can just accept ourselves and be ourselves. Your talk was very well planned out.

  16. Your TED talk was cool because you brought up a topic that people don't really like to talk about and challenged it. Your use of classmates made it a little more relaxed because you used pretty real examples and therefore they were easy to related to. You really challenged the standard that the world sets in perfection and did it really well.

  17. Nobody's perfect. I loved your topic and I'm glad I got to be a part of it! Our view of perfection is skewed greatly. We set impossible goals and we need to change that. Your talk was amazing even with a few minor slip ups! Great Job.
