Noah- Your presentation was well rehearsed and well delivered. Also, I could easily relate to many of the examples, from a plane crash, to knowing someone who has come extremely close to death. Great Presentation!
Noah's presentation was good because he talked with his powerpoint, and the backdrop was actually a part of his speech. His pictured showed his personal relationship to what matters to him.
I liked how you talked about the TEDTalk that inspired you to write yours. I was also really touched by how you made connections with your experiences. Oh, and the John Mayer quote? Touche.
I watched the same TED talk and it was inspiring. Your personal story about your brother made it more relatable and interesting. It is so true that you realize what you have once you almost loose it. Your talk was very good. It was cool that you told your family what you needed to say.
Noah, good volume. It would have been better if you had directly addressed what matters in the beginning of your speech. Nice job connecting the main idea to your family. Fabulous idea talking directly to your family. This was pleasantly surprising. Good job!
The connection to this TED talk really makes a good point. Along with having your own interpretation of these points made by this guy and your own experience makes an awesome presentation. Also your speech at the end to your family really is inspiring and gives a good connection.
Noah- I liked the topic of your speech, you seemed very interested in what you were talking about. You also seemed prepared and comfortable. Your examples were great too. I loved the TED talk by Ric Elias. I also liked how you went into a more personal story and what you learned. Telling your family how you felt was very cool and a unique thing to do during your speech. Great job!
This is a very positive message that your talking about sayng what you need to say. You had a very honest perspective and really opened up to the audience. Great job!
It's so true! You need to choose to be happy because you never know when everything could change. You reminded me of how important it is to say what's on your mind. Your talk was really good, but you had some excessive hand movements. Fantastic job, Noah!
I like how his point was illustrated much through another person. Good pace! I love how he said whatever he needed to in the end! I felt like I was part of the family. Great ending questions as guidance.
What matters: Family and staying in touch with the reality of life. He focused on Ric Elias and how this one event changed this man's life. His story about how his brother almost died and how it changed his brothers life. His speech had the right direction but his slide transitions made his speech disjointed. He ended withe three questions and I found the speech very intriguing.
Noah I loved Ric Elias's TED talk I thought it was wonderful. I like the topic that you choose. Family is very important. I hope your Brother is okay. Your speech was so inspirational. It makes me think about the things that I want to say to the people we love. I liked how you said everything you needed to, to your family. I also accept your challenge.
Relating your talk to another one is a creative way to prove your points. Enjoying what you have was great and also the idea of letting people know how you feel about them was really sweet and touching. Nice job!
Reality checks are something that, unfortunately, happen when a traumatic event occurs and people reevaluate their lives. It's something that is both good and bad, bad because of the bad experience, but good because the change that occurs. It's good to get out the feelings that need to be said. Great topic to bring up, especially for high school students.
Noah, you have a good message. Live life to the fullest is a good message to send to people. People sometimes don't live life to the fullest and sometimes that is people's problem. You had a good speaking voice and a good message to everyone here.
Noah- Your speech was so good! You were so inspiring and I could tell you were speaking from the heart. I've never seen this side of you and it really made me happy (: Great job!

Your presentation was really good and important. My mom almost died once also so I could really relate to the story of your brother. Like your expearence with your brother, it made me tell my family how I truly felt. It is a big deal to me to make sure they know how I feel. Great job, I could tell it was well rehersed and you did awesome.
