  3. I am amazed on how much pirating is hurting the music industry. Your visuals were really helpful and added a lot to your point. I also like your phrase saying that true music fans would never kill artists' chances by pirating.

  5. Justin- I like the idea of starting with music, evne though it didn't work it was an awesome idea! I think this topic is strong becuase there are so many people guilty of pirating...I like all of your examples because everyone knows the examples you used and bands. Overall, it was a great job:)

  6. Justin,

You had a lot of statistics, which is good. I could also tell you had a lot of passion about this. It is good to pick something you care about.

I noticed that your right hand kept moving up and down, over and over and over. This was distracting from your talk. I think it is because you were nervous (you did have a rather rocky start with the music). Just relax, and keep a cool head.

Overall good job, and great job dealing with those distractions, like the bell.

  7. I liked Justin's TED Talk. It had a clear message and points. He had quotes from musicians and good slides. He gave people ideas of how to change the music industry. It was too bad he was interrupted two times. Good TED Talk, Justin.

  8. Justin,
I liked how you challenged your "fans" to not do things illegally. I liked that you said that we are not supporting our favorite band sharing their music illeally. I also liked that your Talk was different than everyone elses. Great job!

  10. Justin- Your idea of how to fix the music industry was great! I especially like the Pandora idea, because I use it all the time. Your idea was simple, but is very effective in proving your point.

  11. Justin- You have a lot of expertise in this area. So it makes sense that you chose to talk about it. And I agree with you that we shouldn't pirate music anymore. It's like if you were a farmer and people were stealing your crops, you'd be kind of pissed. Great job!

  12. Justin- You did a great job with explaing the problems caused by illegal downloading of music, which we would normally just excuse as being "okay", or "it doesn't matter". I've never downloaded music illegally, and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to noew because of your presentation, great job!
