Your slideshow was excellent. It really complemented your talk. You made some excellent points about pets in your talk that I haven't thought of before.
Courtney, I do have pets! It was a good idea to mention the dumb friends league and pet therapy. It hits the empathetic side of people. Your pictures brought a smile to my face. A good idea would have been to move around while you were giving your speech. Overall, great!
You really addressed the amazing things pets can do! Your pictures were very cute. I loved listening to your talk because it was easy to listen to and to relate to.
Courtney, I like your take on how important animals are in people's lives. They are a great stress reducer, and a great responsibility. Pets are peoples best other friends, and they love you for you. You had a great speech with a great message.
I can tell you picked a topic that you were very interested in! You were very calm and well orgainized on your presentation. Loved the pictures on the sceen!
Courtney I liked how you gave examples of how pets are important in everyday life. I also liked how you gave examples of the benefits of pets on people. Good job!
I love how you didn't only talk about house pets! People don't realize how much work animals do for us everyday, from police dogs to seeing eye dogs. I also was very impressed by your presentation-- the transitions were smooth and the pictures were perfect for the topic. p.s. High five for using the word symbiotic!!
You picked a topic that many people can relate to, a good idea. I could really relate to the benefits of a pet because I know that without my dog my life would be way different, and probably not as happy. The nursing home example I also liked because my grandmother lives at a nursing home, and win I bring my dog to the nursing home all of the people just get happier. Your list of how pets are so great was also good because there were so many examples of why pets are great.
Courtney-Great job. I loved your points and you seemed very comfortable talking up there. I also loved your slideshow. It was very cute! I don't have a pet (my parents don't want one), but your speech has made me want one even more! Great job!
Courtney-Your presentation was compelling and interesting, and your slides were ADORABLE!Great Job!
Courtney-I love your talk! Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I think every child should have an animal. To me,animals show what living is truly about. You did a great job presenting, you seemed very comfortable and you did awesome!
Courtney,I liked the real life examples it really brought the story to life. I know I love my pets more than anything. And I can't think of what I would do without them. Maybe we should all take a note from pets and be less judgemental. Good Job!
This is a great topic. Everybody should have a pet at least once in their life, just because they are fun to have as well as building up maturity in an individual. Pets are a companion that can last for a very long time, and who's memory will last forever.
I completley agree with you I know the responsibility of having a pet and even more about the companionship that they provide. I and really agree that it matters.
I love this topic because I can't imagine my life without my dog. This is an awesome thing to talk about becasue it is a bit unexpected and very lighthearted! I also love the idea of the movie pictures too. :) Interesting connection with biology as well.
Courtney started out with a reference to the Dumb Friends Leauge and her speech progressed very nicely. I will say that the cute animal pictures in the backround kind of distracted from the speech, but in the good way. She concuded with the point that pets and humans are in a mutually beneficial relationship and there is a pet for all of us.
Your pictures really related to your talk and were not distracting, they definately added to the message. It was a nice balance because your topic was very serious and the pictures were so cute.
You make a good argument how pets and animals are extremely useful, in jobs, education and personal lives. You did a great job on conveying this point.
Courtney- I loved your talk! Pets are a big part of my life so I could relate to what you were saying. I like how you used lots of examples during your talk. You did a good job, you were very comfortable. Nice job!
I have a dog too! I can completely relate to the subject and it's amazing how much a cat or dog can affect a person. You were engaged and you really knew what you were talking about. You were very still, and sometimes seemed a bit uncomfortable. It was really good!
Courtney's was great because her voice was compassionate and confident. Her slide show was great and looked very nice.
Your speech was really good and I enjoy how you brought in the amazing traits of animals... It made me want to go home and hang out with my dog:) Great job!
Courtney-I really liked how you said everyone has a had a pet at some point even a pet rock, it was really humourous. You really showed that pets can accept any character traits.
Courtney- I enjoyed your presentation and found it very inspiring and informative. I especially enjoyed your discussion about kids gaining many life-lessons from having pets. Good job.
Courtney-I loved how your topic was so relatable because everyone has had experiences with pets. I loved your video in the backgroud it melted my heart with all the cute puppy pictures. Your speech was really thought out and your tone was easy to listen to. It was also interesting to realize how many ways pets benefit the world.
