Vivian- You had a nice spin on the topic. Way to think out side the box.
Vivian- Great use of humor. I also really liked your comparisons. Great job.
She covered a lot of things that do matter, which works because it was a topic that a lot of people wouldn't even think of. She also used the audience during the presentation.
I liked how Vivian did her talk in reverse. It made me think alot more than somebody telling me, "blah" matters.
Vivian,I liked that you used humor. It kept us involved and focused. I also liked your unique perspective on what matters, by saying what doesn't matter.I think the texting thing was a bit distracting. It took a lot of time, and we only saw the results for a few seconds. I think it would have been better to use it more or to not use it at all.Overall, I liked your new view on things. You also effectively used your slideshow.-Matthew Cheney
I like how you used phones in your presentation. Also, your short joke was a great way to connect it yourself personally. I agree that in some way, something matters to everyone! Great speech!
Vivian- great way to allow the audience to be connected with you and your speech. I liked how you used things that sometimes people think wont matter, but made them something that can matter.
Vivian- Great job on the TED Talk. I won't make anymore short jokes for you! But great job on supporting everything matters.
I really like your first slide. And the content of your presentation. I enjoy how you even say that bad things do matter, because you can learn from them.
I like the approach you took to your speech. It must have been really hard to try to predict and shoot down all arguments for why everything matters.
Vivian used technology as an aspect of her talk, which I liked because it got the audience actively involved. Her topic of "What doesn't matter?" challenged me to think about what truly doesn't matter. She make me really try to think but Vivian was right. What does or doesn't matter depends on prospective. She make the class laugh and proves that there isn't really anything that doesn't matter because something matters to someone, therefore, everything matters.
Vivian-I liked the way you involved the audience! You seemed very sure of yourself and had a very strong argument. Your ending challenge was very good.
Vivian- Great sense of humor! And your example of mean girls I understood because I watched that movie last period in Human Behaivors. Nice talk.
Vivian- Basing your presentation on the text survey was an excellent way of getting the audience's attention. You are a great public speaker. Good job
Great job! I love that you have some many different types of technology, it really helps to prove your point! I love that you took such a different twist on your talk, it was refreshing!
I like how you asked US what we think. I was trying to think about what doesn't matter, and honestly I couldn't think of one thing. I never would have thought about any of this until you brought it up! Youused jokes and seriousness in your talk which had a great balance. :)
Vivian-I loved your presentation and your points. You really did an amazing job and I loved the online pole. That was fun to listen to! Good job!!
Vivian - Your topic was unexpected and entertaining, but also informative and eye-opening. You obviously have a very important and interesting topic. Great job!
Vivian- You voiced all of our complaints in school, or what we think doesn't matter in general. Yet, you took all of that and turned it around, and we all are wondering why we ever thought it didn't. Good job turning the world around Vivian!
Vivian,I liked your idea of how things that you think don't matter do in fact matter. It made me reevaluate how I see situations. Great job!
Vivian! You did a great job! I really liked your topic, its very true! Everything does matter and I'm glad you made that point! Your humor and talking ability was great! Amazing job!
Vivian did a great job. I really liked how she was able to interact with the audience with the poll, and it helped the audience to understand better. She did a great job.
I really liked your presentation, and i thought it was really creative how you said "What doesn't Matter" instead of what does. Good job!
